Uh-oh. Brand a bit all over the place?
Brand boost to the rescue!

Brand boost to the rescue! — Brand boost to the rescue! —
Ah. The curse of the murky middle.
You’re fast outgrowing the budget logo, but you’re not yet at a stage where you can invest €5k+ to have a brand identity crafted from scratch. You’ve still got to work with what you have, but dammit! — it’s frustrating af, and you keep changing things up in an attempt to make it better. You tally up the hours you’ve spent tinkering in Canva, and you can’t help but think that your time would be better spent doing what you do best.
You’re 100% right. Your time is way more valuable when you put it to use in your zone of genius. To make matters worse, the hours (and frustration!) you’ve put in to try and fix things may well have been making things worse — because those constant tweaks tend to wreak havoc with your brand recognition. That’s not me painting a doom-and-gloom picture, that’s just a fact. Lack of consistency = people don’t recognise your brand = it’s hard to build the familiarity and trust that you need when you want to build a strong brand presence.
Good news: you probably don’t have to throw it all away!
Before you read on: Brand Boost is not a “brand in a day” service. Designing, or redesigning, a brand from scratch takes considerably longer than one day. Brand Boost is designed to work with what you’ve got, to give it a — you guessed it — boost.
If you’re still reading, my hunch is you’re only kind of happy with your current brand visuals. You’re at the “it’s ok, I guess…” stage. You DIYed it or got a student or a junior designer on [insert crowdsourcing platform here] to whip up a logo for you on a tight budget. You picked some fonts you liked, and some colours, and voilà! No shame in that, we all know what it’s like in those early days.
So wtf are you supposed to do?
It’s a classic pickle.
You’re not (yet!) in a financial position to outsource the whole branding shebang, so you keep bootstrapping. Your bootstrapped efforts aren’t cutting it when it comes to building the brand recognition — and attracting the clients — you need in order to make the money you need to outsource your brand design. You’re fucked.
Or… are you?
I’m here to tell you that there is a middle ground. Yes, I’ve helped countless businesses craft brands from scratch and I’m bloody good at that — but I’ve also helped a lot of smaller brands make the most of their modest budgets, and I daresay I’m pretty good at that too! So here’s my suggestion:
You and I spend a day together elevating your current visual branding to reach its full potential.

If you’re spending far too much time in Canva — and your brand collateral and social media graphics still don’t look anything like you imagined it in your head — then yes. Brand Boost could be one way to fix it.
Brand Boost is for you if you already have some visual brand assets in place, but you’re still struggling to stay consistent with your branding — or your existing branding just doesn’t feel like you.
You know #thatfeeling when you know something is definitely off, but you can’t quite put your finger on it… or you keep tweaking your brand fonts and colours every few weeks but it never feels just right… You lack clarity and confidence in your brand, and it’s driving you batshit crazy — and stopping you from showing up.
During your Brand Boost, I will assess and tweak your brand visuals so they are better aligned with your vision and resonate with your target audience. Exactly how we do this will be different for every brand, but the process can include:
Tweaking, simplifying or modernising your existing logo.
Creating logo variations, sub-marks, and icons to complement your logo.
Adjusting your brand fonts to express your brand personality.
Refining your colour palette to better resonate with your target audience.
Streamlining and simplifying to make your brand identity easier to use.

No, you don’t have to spend all day on-screen with me (phew!) — that wouldn’t be great use of our time! Here’s how a typical brand boost day goes:
Before your boost:
You fill in the pre-session information form and supply your current files that I will use as a starting point. This (+ payment) must be submitted at least 48 hrs before our session.
On the day of your boost:
9 AM — We start the day in my virtual meeting room for a 30 minute kick-off call. Show up as you are, no need to get camera ready. (Though I do recommend bringing a nice cuppa and some snacks!)
9:30 AM — Action time! I get to work and you’re free to go about your day as you please. I will need you to be available for feedback and input throughout the day, so avoid scheduling any important meetings on the day of your Brand Boost.
2 PM(ish) — Time for our wrap-up call. This is just to go over the final things, making sure we don’t have to go back in to edit minor things after exporting all those logo files!
2:30 PM — It’s a wrap! After our wrap-up call I go away to export all your final files, and they’ll land in your inbox within the next day or so.
Then what?
If you booked an add-on, like a Canva brand kit + template bundle or Voxer support, we’ll typically work on that in the week(s) following your Brand Boost.

Oh my goodness, that’d be something, eh? Thankfully, that’s not the case.
Time zones can be a right pain in the butt. If you’re located outside of Europe, we can absolutely complete your Brand Boost over two days, with the kick-off call on one day, and the wrap-up call on the next. If that is the case, reach out to arrange a suitable time over two consecutive days so I can make sure my schedule is clear for day two!

No.
Crafting a strategic brand identity from scratch takes time, usually 4-8 weeks at least. Squeezing it all into one day simply isn’t going to get you a good end result. Brand Boost sessions are designed for those who already have a brand identity but it could do with some tweaks to make it more cohesive and aligned with their vision.
-
No.
Brand Boost is for tweaking an existing brand identity and/or aligning your current visual brand with your brand strategy. I only do general graphic design process for existing brand identity clients, as a part of maintaining their brand consistency.
-
Yes, when you book your Brand Boost, you have the option to either pay in full or to split the amount into three equal monthly payments.
